How does a sprinkler work in Harvestella? ›

Description. Waters the farm when installed. The Great Water Faerie's pride and joy. Sprinkles water over 1 block in all directions when installed on the farm.

Recipe. You get the blueprint for the sprinkler at level 6 farming.

The Sprinkler is unlocked at Farming level 2. Sprinklers can water Slime Hutch troughs, but cannot be used to water Garden Pots or the pet's water bowl. Sprinklers cannot be placed on sand. A Torch can be placed on a Sprinkler to provide minimal lighting in the dark.

Sprinkler: Unlocked at Farming Level 2, and waters the 4 tiles that are orthogonally adjacent to the Sprinkler (i.e.; directly above, below, and to either side). Requires: 1 Copper Bar. 1 Iron Bar.

The typical sprinkler head consists of a plug held in place by a trigger mechanism. The Sprinkler tool is available for purchase at the very beginning of your game. It costs 50000 G though (yikes!) so it may be several seasons before you can afford to buy it. You can find it in the Farmer's Union, next to the Scarecrow.

The final way of draining an irrigation system is known as the blow-out method. To drain the pipes, you force compressed air through the irrigation system. This discharges excess water through the sprinkler heads. It works if you have the proper irrigation system to handle the pressure.

It might surprise you to learn that the travelling sprinkler base is neither fuel nor electricity operated but is simply powered by water pressure alone. The water pressure causes the two overhead sprinklers (which are bent at opposite angles) to rotate and spray water.
